Mentoring Webinars Prove Popular with Practitioners

Triple Creek Receives ASTD Excellence in Practice Citation

(Greenwood Village, Colorado) - At the 2009 ASTD International Conference & Expo in Washington, DC, Triple Creek Associates was presented with an ASTD Excellence in Practice Citation in partnership with CDW. The winning entry showcased the Mentor Match program at CDW that uses Triple Creek's web-based Open Mentoring process. E-Mentoring Sparks Upswing in Productivity

(Greenwood Village, Colorado) In today's challenging economic climate, organizations must find ways to do more with less and use the resources they have to the fullest extent.

Triple Creek Associates conducted a survey of 1,323 mentees and mentors at 13 client organizations and found that the use of web-based Open Mentoring brings positive results to participants' productivity and effectiveness.

-- 88% agreed that their productivity/effectiveness increased due to e-mentoring experiences.
-- Mentees and mentors both felt the impact in areas such as leadership skills, interpersonal effectiveness, expanding networks, and confidence in role.
-- On-the-job training and mentoring/coaching were rated as more effective than e-learning.
-- 97% of people who spent at least one hour a month on mentoring reported satisfaction with their relationships.
