Mentoring Administrator Poll Highlights Increased Need for Knowledge Transfer

New data from Triple Creek Associates details mentoring champions' opinions on a range of topics from employee engagement, to knowledge transfer, to need for community.

(Greenwood Village, Colorado) During Triple Creek Associates' 2008 Open Mentoring® Summit in Denver, attendees were polled on a variety of topics related to their work. Answers from these 49 mentoring leaders, representing 28 organizations and governmental agencies, revealed an inside look at what organizations of all kinds are dealing with today.

-- 98% said that knowledge transfer is of increasing importance.
-- 77% said their organization considers employee engagement to be a key measure.
-- 95% said there is an escalating need for self-development within their organization.
-- 79% said employees have expressed an increased need for community.

As administrators and champions of web-based mentoring programs, these participants offered insight into what real-world professionals are facing.
