Open Educator is designed to be a flexible platform to support local, state and national mentoring programs to address the multifaceted needs of the education community.

Uses include:

• Intradistrict programs, such as new teacher onboarding and teacher transitions.
• Interdistrict programs at the regional or state level, connecting teachers and administrators who have similar positions in peer-to-peer relationships.
• Large targeted programs at the national level to support specific populations, such as principals or rural teachers, or specific needs, such as curriculum development.
