(Greenwood Village, Colorado) – In their recent report "Drive Employee Talent Development Through Business Mentoring Programs" (August 2010), independent research firm Forrester Research, Inc. highlights the use of technology to manage mentoring programs in today's organizations and includes Triple Creek as one of five vendors reviewed.

As lead author Claire Schooley states in the executive summary of the report:

The business world has long known and relied upon mentoring as a proven technique for developing in-house talent. Today, mentoring is experiencing a resurgence because business leaders not only recognize the benefits of transferring knowledge among employees — they also have access to mentoring technology that fosters and manages large numbers of mentoring relationships. This new software category offers a breakthrough in the scale and quality of mentoring throughout the enterprise. Why does it matter? Companies that use mentoring extensively boast higher employee retention, more engaged employees, and stronger succession bench strength.

“Forrester Research is a top name in market analysis for business and technology solutions, and having them review Triple Creek and the use of mentoring software as a growing practice is an honor," says Randy Emelo, President and CEO of Triple Creek.

The report includes the business case for using mentoring technology, a vendor comparison, two case studies—one of which highlights Rockwell Collins' use of Open Mentoring®—and recommendations for starting a mentoring program.

"The use of mentoring technology and software in global organizations continues to flourish, and having an organization like Forrester conduct research on this practice we believe helps add legitimacy to the real business results that can be obtained through enterprise mentoring systems," says Emelo.

Forrester's report can be purchased via their site.
